I’ve had the opportunity to work on murals for both professional and personal projects. The first mural, created in March 2024, was for a home basement bar. The client felt the space lacked an artistic touch and asked me to design a mural featuring a lager being poured with a side pour tap handle, with hops flowing around or out of the glass. The client, a fan of Rick and Morty and a pet lover, also requested subtle Easter eggs in the form of characters from the show and his pets hidden within the hops. This mural allowed me to blend his interests with the functional design of the space.
The second mural, completed between 2021 and 2022, was for Eugene’s Restaurant, located within Bottlehouse Brewery. The client wanted a design that reflected a 1950s aesthetic, which I infused with elements inspired by the video game Cuphead. The characters I drew in my sketchbook were key to landing the job, and I used the company’s logo as the foundation for the mural's design.
